Farrell & Farrell was fronted by husband and wife duo Bob and Jayne Farrell. Their band was one of the first to make their mark in Contemporary Christian Music, traveling across Europe and behind the Iron Curtain while topping the charts in the US.
Jayne now speaks of her life on the road and the wisdom she’s gained through living life and the obstacles that have been thrown in her path. She is a powerful, humorous speaker who tells stories you’ll find hard to believe. But she’s lived them and has the authority to tell it like it is!
You might say that Deby Dearman’s art was born the day her music died. Vocal problems silenced her singing, but led her to art. Deby has enjoyed a life enriched by beauty. She grew up living abroad in Japan and Italy, and eventually returned to live in Europe with her husband and two daughters. In Europe, Deby and her husband, Kirk, co-founded Creative Arts Europe and toured throughout the continent, performing in ancient European cathedrals with teams of singers and dancers. In addition to Deby’s painting career she enjoys hosting Artists events where she helps creatives uncover their dreams and learn to live them.
Melinda Knight is a self-taught pastry chef who has worked for several notable Nashville restaurants and owns her own business, Melinda’s Kitchen. She has been recognized in The Tennessean, The Nashville Scene, and Nashville Lifestyles Magazine, and most recently featured in their November 2014 issue of The 25 Best Desserts in Nashville. With over 30 years experience, she possesses a breadth and depth of knowledge and skill in the food and hospitality industry, as well as her love of teaching her own culinary and baking classes and was a chef instructor at the former Viking Cooking School.
Jeff Slaughter is owner of ChezSlaughter Chocolate, a roving chocolate boutique inspired after living more than a decade in Belgium – also known as the ‘Chocolate Capital of the World.’ Although his family is currently based in Louisiana, Jeff is in Europe several months a year for Christian missions projects.
When he's in the USA during the late fall and winter, he makes and sells chocolate, hosts chocolate parties and teaches chocolate workshops to help support his ministry.
Found in the garbage in Korea over 40 years ago Kim Deardorff has been living a miraculous life ever since. God has blessed his life in so many ways including a wonderful gift of music. Kim started playing melodies from listening to records at the age of 3 and started writing on the piano when he was 5. In 2010 he was honored to become a Kawai piano artist!
Without a college degree, Kim has taught at two colleges and has been hired to travel and work around the world. Kim has worked with a Grammy Award winning producer, Academy Award winning singer and a Hall of Fame songwriter. Kim's message is: "It doesn't matter where or how you start out in life, God has a purpose and plan for everyone.”
